The Flat Belly Diet Book Review

The Flat Belly Diet is a simply planned out diet that targets belly fat! A flat belly is where it is at, however the majority of us are not genetically made this way. We need to work for it. The problem is where to start. There are so many varieties of diets and diet cookbooks on the market today; how do you know which one will work? Are you going to be able to eat ‘diet’  food and stick with it? I can tell you that the Flat Belly Diet cookbook is simple and more importantly, tasty!

I will summarize what I feel are the main ideas supporting the Flat Belly Diet cookbook. This simple plan is based upon the scientific theory that you reduce calories while adding a serving of monounsaturated fatty acids to every meal. These are also referred to as MUFA’s. MUFA’s include nuts (peanuts, cashews, pine nuts, etc), healthy oils, avocados, dark chocolate, and other amazing foods that are not  recommended in most other diet cookbooks. These MUFA’s work together in small servings with other foods to keep you full and energized throughout the day. This simple and tasty plan is designed so you eat every four hours, four times a day at 400 calories each.

Including MUFAs at every meal is what helps facilitate the removal of belly fat. These fatty acids have been shown to help prevent the accumulation of fat in the belly area and aid in removing the fat and toxins that have been left behind as unsightly storage. This, coupled with the overall decrease in calories, makes this plan very logical, easy-to-follow and very tasty. I tried this plan out for 3 weeks and enjoyed the food with the added MUFA’s. My belly is not a belly anymore. I have a flat stomach and this has changed my lifestyle for the better!
