Weight Watchers weight loss program is by far the most popular diet on the planet. Weight Watchers has been around since the 1960′s and it operates all over the world. We have all heard of its infamous “points system” and “support meetings”. The reason Weight Watchers is so huge and well known is because it works! People who have followed the Weight Watchers plan loved it and people who have yet to follow the plan, love it because of all the positive reviews it has received over the last 40-some years. Weight Watchers has a positive and famous reputation! I will summarize the basics below and show you how and why Weight Watchers is a diet that can work for anyone.
One of the main reasons why I like Weight Watchers diet plan is because of the way it compares to the 100′s of other diet plans out there. It sits on a pedestal above the rest. Weight Watchers is actually based on the most simple and basic way the human body loses weight. Weight Watchers is not based on a fad idea (like high protein-low carb), or a gimmick, like most other diet plans. Weight Watchers is based on calorie control and exercise. That is it and that is all!
The reason why calorie control should be at the heart of every weight loss program is because your body requires a certain number of calories each day to maintain your current weight. For example, lets say I eat a 3000 calorie-a-day diet and I lower my calorie intake to 2500 calories per day; will I lose weight? Yes! I will lose weight since I am consuming less calories than the 3000 calories used to maintain my current weight. Make sense? I hope so. If you really want to up the ‘anti’, add some workout regimes to your new calorie intake. Will you lose more weight? Yes, and you will feel great!
What Weight Watchers provides to clients is a different way of explaining calorie intake by using the ‘points system’ and providing support teams for members. Basically, Weight Watchers changed the name of calories to points. ALL OF US can count calories and ALL OF US can count points. You can even go online and learn how to use transfer calories to points.
If you can afford to pay a company to help you count and to also have a support system of other weight watcher members, then join Weight Watchers. They have a great reputation and you will lose any amount of weight that you need or want to. If you are like me, and may not want to spend money on a system that you could do yourself at home, using a couple of friends as a support system, then go for it!
Overall, I really do respect the Weight Watchers diet plan because it works and it is the healthiest and safest way to lose weight. If this is your first or your 30th time dieting, Weight Watchers is highly recommended by many!
